Stay fit during COVID.

Quarantrain is an initiative that was started by a group of Physiotherapy students and practicing Physios from different parts of the world to add meaning and bring some joy to the aspect of practicing social distancing and stay or work from home initiative, which have been shown to be effective ways of flattening the curve and rather the spread of the disease that is now within us and affecting thousands of lives of people we love across the globe.

During this times we shall be sharing videos of how uniquely the body is designed for movement, from laying down, weather on the coach or in bed, sitting, and including numerous chores as well as other fun movements that you are yet to find out, dance included.

The main aim of this movement is to ensure that we get the world’s wonderful people moving to a whole new level of movement. It is a movement for movement, we get to collectively move more and most importantly discover unique movements that will be new to some of us but also to remember movements that were lost and forgotten over the years.

We hope that we can get all of us achieving and even surpassing the standard Physical Activity guidelines that are recommended by the World Health Organization for different age groups from young adults, middle aged and old alike.

We do know already and have an idea of how beautiful exercise is to our health, from making us stronger, healthier, improving our mental health hygiene, preparing our bodies to battle diseases, COVID-19, included. And it is for this reason we have come together to help you not just move more, but to move better as well.
